All Escrow Officers who work at Peoples Escrow are approved by the Department of Corporations and subject to background checks by the Department of Justice. We strive to hire the best escrow officers and every employee of Peoples Escrow has been bonded and screened thoroughly. We are also subject to regular audits by the DOC, and a financial and internal controls audit by a Certified Public Accounting firm licensed in California. Controlled DRE and DOI companies are not subject to such regulations or held to such high standards.
